It’s nearly that time of year again when we celebrate and spoil our beautiful and special mums! I don’t know about you but my mum is a pretty special lady and has been such a rock for me over the years. Since becoming a mother myself a few years ago I’ve grown to appreciate just what it means to be a mum and it’s certainly not as easy as I thought it was going to be, that’s for sure!!
It is such a simple thing to read a book or sit in a quiet room for a little while with no distractions, no noise and just to be alone. It is also easier said than done sometimes. Life just keeps on going and it is easy to forget to take some time our for yourself. I really appreciate the little time that I do get to myself these days. It’s such a nice luxury to have some down time from my busy role as mama and wife. So when spending some quality relaxation time the other day I came across this quote that I thought summed up what it feels like for me to be a mother.
